About Me!
In Karachi, Pakistan, I was born on Friday the 4th of March 1949 in Makrani family of Memon Community. I was the first child of Dr. & Mrs. Abdul Rahman Makrani.
Memon Community is well-known in all over the World. In India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Burma, Singapore, Bangladesh and the Middle East this Community is recognized as a Business Community. Except my father who was a Medical Doctor all my uncles and many other relatives are business people.
I have started my own business in Karachi (Pakistan) on 9th of May 1968 as an Independent Business Manager and Foreign Trade Consultant. In the year 1975 Mohammad Iqbal Makrani, my younger brother, has joined the company as Partner and Director of International Division. In the year 1978 another company, Mohammad Iqbal Abdul Rehman, was founded as a sister company of Ahmadkamal Makrani. We express our sincere appreciation for those who have contributed to our success and thank you very much for helping make these 35 years great.
I married on 17th November 1973 and on 20th August 1974 I become a father of my first child. At the moment I have two sons, two daughters and two smart grand sons and three very intelligent, cute grand daughters.
In the end of 1997 we have established a new company in Ajman Free Zone (United Arab Emirates) and as result I now have another home in the UAE.
